An Alumnus of LEAD XX, Terry has been a supporter of Nebraska agriculture and the educational opportunities that LEAD provides. A native Nebraskan, Terry grew up near Milford on his family's farm. Terry earned a B.S. in Agriculture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College. Terry continues his thirst for learning as he currently pursues a Ph.D. in Human Sciences/Leadership Studies.
Terry worked seventeen years as an Agricultural Education Instructor/FFA Advisor for the Geneva Public Schools. In 1998, he began his career with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as an Extension Educator in Fillmore County specializing in grain marketing and risk management. In 2005, he went to work for the Extension office in Cass County.

Angi McAndrew joined the Nebraska LEAD Program office in January of 2008. In our office Angi's many responsibilities include coordinating our seminars and acting as liaison for all the speakers, donors, Fellows and board members who make our program successful. She also makes the summertime arrangement for top quality candidates to be interviewed as possible LEAD Fellows and manages this website.
Prior to her arrival here, she spent several years working as a non-profit development officer handling donor relations, fundraising and event planning.

Shana Gerdes is the newest member of the Nebraska LEAD Program's office, coming to us in September of 2008. She has a B.A. in Social Work from Dana College and previously used her degree in hospital, mental health and school settings. Prior to leaving the work force in 2000 to be an at home mom, Shana worked at NC+ Hybrids in the Sales Department.
Shana works half time as the LEAD Program secretary. Her primary responsibilities are maintaining the database, publishing the bi-annual newsletter, assisting with the alumni dinners and helping to coordinate the Annual Recognition Dinner. Outside of work, Shana enjoys running, reading, her husband and their two children.
